Excess salt in instant foods can lead to diseases like heart disease and cancer: Study shows

Although we know that salt is more dangerous in meals, we prefer the most ready meals and packaged foods. According to a recent survey in Britain, Ready-to-eat food is the most dangerous.

According to the study, the amount of salt in packet food, bread and meals is higher than the prescribed amount. It increases the chances of people getting heart disease, stomach diseases and stomach cancer.

Researchers say a number of studies have been conducted in the UK since 2019, following the introduction of the Food Salt Amendment Act in 2011. The law is not being properly enforced in Britain, according to the Public Health Responsibility Deal. So far, there has been an increase of 10,000 heart patients and 1,500 stomach cancer patients after the law was passed. This figure has been seen from 2011 to 2017.

According to the research, adults should not consume more than 6 grams of salt per day and children should not consume more than 3 grams of salt. Using more salt than that is extremely dangerous for the body. It invites many kinds of ailments.
